Ilean N. Holm Elsinore, Utah - Marie Ilean Nielsen Holm, age 88, of Elsinore, died March 14, 2004 in Richfield, Utah. She was born October 10, 1915 in Monroe, Utah, a daughter of James Christian and Maria Elnora Anderson Nielsen. She married Waldo Niel Peterson Holm, December 15, 1937 in Monroe, Utah. He died August 17, 1983. Ilean was a member of the LDS Church and the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Camp Belknap. She was a very talented seamstress. She enjoyed wood carving and made a collection of Kachina Dolls. She enjoyed cooking, quilting and gardening. Ilean in survived by her children: Annette and Joe Kovach of Flagstaff, Arizona; Theodore (Ted) Holm of Elsinore; Marilyn Holm of Elsinore; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister: Cristel Lucile (Odell) Mason of Redding, California. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sons: Neal Peterson Holm and twins, Spencer Peterson Holm and Stephen Peterson Holm; an infant brother; and a granddaughter: Heidy Peterson Holm. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 19, 2004 at 12 Noon in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and again Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
