Jake Blackham

July 4, 1984 — November 10, 2008

Aurora, Utah - Our beloved son, husband, father and brother, Jacob Lee Blackham, “Jake” was called back to our Heavenly Father, due to a tragic accident, November 10, 2008 at his home in Aurora. Jake was born in Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, on July 4, 1984, a son of Kerry Alan and Heidi Elise Dudley Blackham. Growing up the youngest of three boys, he enjoyed the outdoors. However, golf was his passion which he enjoyed with his dad. Jake went to Snow College where he met the love of his life, Jessica Dawn Walton of Richfield. They were married on February 11, 2006 in Aurora, Utah. On November 5, 2008, their lives were blessed with the birth of their son, Payton Lee Blackham. Jake worked in the Tire Department at the Walmart Store in Richfield. He was a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by his wife, Jessica and their son, Payton; his parents, Dr. Kerry and Heidi Blackham; brothers: Joshua and Linnan Blackham and their daughter, Katina; and Jesse Blackham, all of Aurora; grandfather, Fred Blackham of Richfield; mother-in-law: Shellie Guernsey of Richfield; sisters and brothers-in-law: Brittney and Scott Anderson of Salt Lake City; Leslie Williamson, Wade and Wyatt McCarty, all of Richfield; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 12 Noon in the Aurora 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Aurora City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah. A trust fund has been set up at Zion's Bank in the name of Jake Blackham for his son, Payton Lee Blackham.
