James D. Snow

April 5, 1926 — June 21, 2010

Aurora, Utah - Our dad, grandpa and great-grandpa, James Denton Snow, age 84, died June 21, 2010 in Gunnison, Utah. He was born April 5, 1926 in San Francisco, California, a son of Alden Joseph Nugent and Frances Cynthia Snow. He graduated from Alhambra High School and he served in the United States Navy during World War II. He married Joan Bradbury, December 15, 1945 in Martinez, California. They were later divorced. He was a member of the LDS Church, serving in several different callings. He loved to hunt ducks. Jim is survived by his children: Sandra Lynn of Carson City, Nevada; Patricia Susan Sincich of Martinez, California; Lori Ann Bradbury and Jon William Snow, both of Redding, California; Tina Michelle Johnson of Aurora; and Brian Marshall Snow of Benicia, California; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the Pleasant Hill LDS Ward Chapel in Pleasant Hill, California, where friends may call for viewing one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Concord, California. Funeral Directors: Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
