Richfield, Utah - On February 17, 2005, James Dean Huntsman, age 47, of Richfield, quietly passed away and returned home to the loving arms of our Father in Heaven. James was a loving, generous, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was born July 25, 1957, in Richfield, Utah, a son of Neil Dean and Wanda Florence Julander Huntsman. He graduated from Richfield High School and got a certificate in Carpenter Work at the Sevier Valley Tech in Richfield. James married Lori Lorraine Neilson, October 7, 1977 in Richfield. They were later divorced. He married Vicki Malmgren and they were later divorced. On March 13, 2004, James married Charly Jean Hatch in Richfield. James was a skilled carpenter and craftsman who loved wood working and freely shared his talents with others. James loved spending time with family and friends in the outdoors, hiking, camping, hunting, rock hounding and cooking dutch oven. James will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. His gentle kindness has touched the lives of many. We love you, James, we’ll keep you in our hearts. James is survived by his wife of Richfield; daughter: Jamie Dawn and Jared Hattendorf of St. George; three grandsons: Bradyn, Kyron and Cason Hattendorf; two step-daughters: Jessica Pillow of Salt Lake City and Carly Pillow of Woodland, Utah. He is also survived by his sisters and brother: Bonnie and Mark Cox of Cedar City; David M. and Trudi Huntsman of Richfield; Penney and Bill Knight of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Florence, and his step-father, Woody Ogden. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. in the Richfield 3rd LDS Ward Chapel, located at 985 South 400 West in Richfield. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and at the 3rd Ward Chapel, Tuesday from 11:30 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
