Salina, Utah - James Haskins "High Range", age 85, passed away July 6, 2018 t his home in Salina. He was born November 30, 1932 in Fort White, Florida, a son of William Monroe and Ethel Mae Parker Haskins. He married the love of his life, Cloma LaRea Woolsey October 24, 1956 in Ely, Nevada. She preceded him in death on September 20, 2013. James was a member of the American Truck Historical Society and a member of the Blast From The Past Car Club. He enjoyed restoring antique diesels, classic cars, and anything with an engine. If he couldn't find the right part, he created it. He loved to help anyone in need. He was an avid member of the HeeHaw Club. James is survived by his children; Virginia and Bryan Stewart of Aurora; Sue and Fred St. Pierre of Aurora; James J. Haskins of Salina; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; brother and sister: William Brooks Haskins and Ann Wright, both of Jacksonville, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two daughters: Cheryl Huntsman and Noel Fullmer; 6 siblings: Willie Mae Collins, Virginia Roberts, Marcell Elizabeth Hansen, Barbara Webster, Dorotha Haskins and Jean Haskins. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 16, 2018 at 12 Noon in the Salina LDS Stake Center, 98 West 400 North in Salina, where friends may call for viewing Sunday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Salina Eastside Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
