Jared Puffer

August 23, 1989 — February 8, 2022

Monroe, Utah – Lenzy Jared Puffer, age 32, passed away February 8, 2022 at his home in Monroe. He was born August 23, 1989 in Beaver, Utah, a son of Lenzy M. and Monali M. Murie Puffer. He grew up in Beaver where he loved to go camping and fishing with his father. He graduated from Beaver High School, Class of 2008. Jared was a Sergeant First Class in the Utah National Guard. He served two deployments in his time in the military, once in Afghanistan and the second deployment in Kuwait and Dubai. He was a stalwart soldier, dependable, brave and true. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, shooting guns, playing video games and camping. He enjoyed spending time on Beaver Mountain, fishing with his brothers at Kent’s Lake. Jared was passionate and determined and was true to himself. He gave the best warm hugs. He was a helper. He loved his family and his family extended far beyond blood. Jared had the ability to command and be heard. He enjoyed making people laugh. He loved to tell stories and he had a vision for him to do great things. Jared’s hero was his Dad. He wanted to live up to his father and make his own children proud of him. Jared is survived by his wife, Destiny; children: Zurik Puffer, Alva puffer and Thorsten Puffer, all of Joseph; his father, Lenzy Puffer of Beaver; his mother, Monali Peters of Rock Springs, Wyoming; siblings: Jeromy Puffer, Charlie Puffer, Weston Puffer, Lacy Guenther, Willy Guenther, Cody Puffer and Sam Spounias; and the servicemen of the 214th FSC and B Battery 1st of the 145th FA. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 12:00 Noon in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial with military honors accorded by the Sevier Valley American Legion Post #37 and the Utah Honor Guard will be in the Monroe City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
