Ferndale, Washington - Jared Rene Van Dyke, age 44, passed suddenly and unexpectedly March 19, 2023 at his home in Ferndale of a heart attack. He was born November 8, 1978 in Richfield, Utah to Rene and Coleen Johnson Van Dyke. He was the big brother to David, Gordon, Katie, Jacob, Mary and Suzanne. Jared spent his childhood in Lyman, Utah helping Dad and Grandpa Welby on the farm. In high school Jared spent his free time wrestling, hunting, fishing, and trying to keep his siblings in line while also being dad’s right hand man on the dairy. He attended school in Wayne County until his senior year when he moved in with his Aunt Judy and Uncle Terry White in Logan, where he graduated from Mountain Crest High School in 1997.
Jared served his mission in Charlotte, North Carolina. After completing his mission he returned to Lyman to work at Aspen Ranch, where one of the boys, who is now his brother-in-law, introduced him to the love of his life Andria Nicole Palmer. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on July 28, 2000. They started their life together in Logan, Utah where Andria completed her education at USU. While Andria was completing her degree, Jared found his niche in the construction and remodeling business. They moved to Colorado in 2002 where he continued to work construction, while learning valuable skills from
his father-in-law, Joel.
Jared and Andria welcomed their first child Hailee Ann in August 2003. In April 2006 they welcomed Austin Jared into the family. In February 2009 Emma Nicole completed the family. In 2010 they made a sacrifice to move to Logandale, Nevada to be close to Andria’s parents.
Jared spent many nights away from his family driving truck for five years. To make it possible for him to be home with his family, Jared became a realtor, which led him to become a property manager. This opened many doors for him. In 2019 he started a big adventure when he purchased a property management business in the state of Washington, where their family has resided ever since.
Jared loved to spend time with his family. His favorite activities included mountain biking, 4-wheeling, boating, and chasing his family. His motto was: A family that plays together, stays together. Jared gained his angel wings too early in life.
Jared leaves behind his wife Andria, and his children Hailee, Austin, and Emma; his parents, Rene and Coleen Van Dyke; his siblings: David and Amanda Van Dyke, Gordon and JoNeal Van Dyke, Katie and Jd Pack, Jacob and Casi Van Dyke, Mary and Christopher Larsen, Suzanne and Devan Coates; his parents-in-law: Linda and Russ Weber; and siblings-in-law: Ryan and Zalina Palmer, Christina and Jeremie Sprague, Michael Palmer; 32 nieces and nephews.
