Jason Edward Brown

Richfield, Utah - Jason Edward Brown, age 37, of Richfield, passed away August 22, 2014 in Provo, Utah. Known as Spyder by his friends, he was born June 28, 1977 in Richfield, a son of Richard Edward "Dusty" and Terri Lee Nielson Brown. He spent most of his life in Nevada, returning home to Richfield in 2005. Jason loved music, which he had an ear for, from playing his guitar, which he could do for hours, to working with sound systems for shows. Jason enjoyed crafts and video games almost as much as he loved music. He was also an avid fisherman. Jason could sit all day with the patience of a saint, waiting for that one bite. Any type of fish, any method, that was him. Let's go fishing!!! He was kind, gentle and respectful. Jason has traveled many paths in this life and is on his final journey home, where he will be fishing with his Dad and Grandpa Nielson. You are loved and will be missed by many. The greatest legacy he will leave behind is his son, Damian. Jason is survived by his son, Damian Brown, his mother, Terry Brown and his grandmother, Delores Nielson, all of Richfield; aunts and uncles: Karen and Dave Julander of Annabella; Robert and Doreen Nielson of Salina; numerous cousins, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Brown and his grandfather, Tex Nielson. Grave side services will be held Friday, August 29, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Richfield City Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Thursday evening from 6 to 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Jason Brown Funeral Account at State Bank of Southern Utah. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
