Loa, Utah - Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Jean Meyers Davis, age 73, of Loa, was called home March 31, 2007, after a very brief and sudden illness. She was born October 15, 1933 in Midvale, Utah, a daughter of Carl Frederick and Maggie Parker Meyers. She married Kirk Buckler Davis, November 22, 1957 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Kirk died August 14, 2002. Jean exemplified charity, serving faithfully as a member of the LDS Church and in her community. She was also proud to be a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, but her greatest joy was her 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons. Jean is survived by her children: LaVon and Charles (Ike) Eisenhauer of Murray; Dallas and Elaine Davis of Blanding; Scott M. and Cindy Davis of Taylorsville; MarJean Davis of Loa; Koami and Brian Jensen of North Las Vegas, NV; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons; brother and sister: Brent Meyers of Brigham City and Joyce Lott of Brighton, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, LaMar Meyers and her husband, Kirk. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. in the Loa LDS Stake Center. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or at the Stake Center in Loa, Saturday morning from11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Loa Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
