Jeff Edmondson

September 4, 1944 — September 13, 2010

On September 13, 2010, Jeffery Lynn Edmondson (“Jeff”) concluded his grand tour through the ancient and modern wonders of this world. Jeff peacefully passed away surrounded by family in Las Vegas Nevada after a battle with MS. Born September 4, 1944 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Sybil Rose Jones (Miles Hansen) and father Jefferson Davis Edmondson (Kaye). A graduate of North Sanpete High School, Jeff moved to Salt Lake City where he owned and operated a bicycle business in North Salt Lake. He married Lorraine Peterson on February 14, 1964; they had two children: a daughter Shelli Carlos (Henderson, Nevada); and a son, Jeffery W. Edmondson (Rancho Santa Margarita, California). He later married Anita Archuleta, on July 22, 1995. He enjoyed golfing and snowmobiling. He especially loved spending time at his cabin and being with friends and family. Jeff was known for his great sense of humor and positive attitude. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his children, Shelli and Jeff (Yolanda); his brothers: Lee (Vickie) Edmondson of Reno; and Richard (Kathryn) Hansen (Mt. Pleasant, Utah); his sisters: Bonnie (John) Johnson (South Jordon, Utah); and Judy (Dennis) McCroskey (Reno, Nevada); grandchildren, McCall Carlos, Matt Carlos and Jefferson Edmondson; and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents, his brother Paul Edmondson, his sister Diane Edmondson and his step-father, Miles Hansen. Wake services will be held Friday, September 17, 2010 at Little America, 500 South Main Street Salt Lake City Utah 84101, in the Olympus room, from 4pm to 7pm.
