Jennette Jensen Alcala

Ephraim, Utah - Our kind and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Jennette LaRue Jensen Alcala, age 68, passed away June 24, 2018 in Provo, Utah, with her loving family at her side. She was born February 1, 1950 in Salina, a daughter of Ronald Rudolph and Jennie Vee Jensen Jensen. She was their only child, but grew up with loving grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. She graduated from Gunnison Valley High school and Snow College. She enjoyed drama and poetry and was very good at both. She was a loving, caring person, always doing something to make others happy. She was a member of the LDS Church and had many friends and family who loved her and will deeply miss her. Jennette is survived by her children: Kendra Ziegler and Ron Sorensen, both of Ephraim; 2 grandchildren: Dave and Heidi Sorensen of Ephraim, and Angelina Sorensen; and 2 great-granddaughters, Jenny and Payton. Private family services have been held and burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
