Jennifer Nolte Vaughn

April 21, 1962 — October 10, 2010

Boulder, Utah - Jennifer Nolte Vaughn was born April 21, 1962 in Lancaster, California, a daughter of Charles Edward and Louellyn Beth Ray Klingemann and she passed away on October 10, 2010 in Boulder, Utah. Jennifer had the good fortune of marrying the love of her life and best friend Edgar V. Vaughn, June 30, 1997 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was always at her side, through many happy years together, her illness from cancer, and her death. She lived her life with joyful abandon, wicked humor and wisdom. Jennifer possessed a magnetic quality that drew others to her. Just being near her and hearing her frequent laughter made you feel good. She loved to travel and lived in many places stateside and overseas, most recently Louisville, KY and Salt Lake City, UT before settling with her husband in the pretty little town of Boulder, UT. Jennifer and Ed created a rich life together there, complete with an abundant garden, chickens, goats, and a wonderful restaurant called The Burr Trail Grill. She had an uncommon sense of style, grace, and creativity and she loved to make everyone that entered their home or that dined at their restaurant feel like a treasured family member. She loved her family, her friends, and her pets beyond compare. Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Edgar V. Vaughn; her stepchildren Caleb and Katie Vaughn; her father Charles Klingemann (Tina); her sister Shelley Dove; her brother Kevin Klingemann (Patricia); her parents-in-law Edgar D. and Jo Vaughn; her stepfather Ken Green; her nieces and nephews, and so many adoring friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Louellyn Green. In honor of her memory, may we all live with as much joy, humor, love, and compassion as she had.
