Jerry Palmer, Jr.

Richfield, Utah - Our kind and beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, Gerald Arthur Palmer Jr., age 49, died March 30, 2013 at his home in Richfield from a massive heart attack. He was born October 29, 1963 in Newfane, New York, a son of Gerald Arthur and Freida June Schurr Palmer. He attended high school in Newfane, New York, and graduated in the class of 1981. He married Bonnie Elaine Larsen, November 15, 1999 in Richfield, Utah. Jerry was a member of the LDS church. He loved to be in the outdoors and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He was a machinist and a true craftsman. Jerry loved to spend time with his wife Bonnie, and will be dearly missed by her. He is survived by his wife of Richfield; 3 children; 5 grandchildren; 3 brothers; and 3 brothers-in-law: George and Tova Larsen of St. George, Carl and Diana Larsen of the Philippines, Ben and Michelle Larsen of Mt. Pleasant; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his parents-in-law: Larry and Rose Larsen. Grave side services will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 12 Noon in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services.
