Aurora, Utah - Our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother and uncle, Jesston R. Anderson, age 95, died June 13, 2010 at his home in Aurora. He was born May 17, 1915 in Aurora, a son of Ralph and Ruth Mabel Mason Anderson. He graduated from Salina High School, Class of 1934. He married Donna Moss, February 8, 1937 in Manti, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, July 12, 1954. She died August 25, 2004. He was an active member of the LDS Church. Dad was an avid fisherman. Grandpa loved spending time on the mountain with his family. He was known for having the prettiest garden in town, because he tended his garden with love and care. He was a barber and gave the best hair cuts in town and continued to cut hair until he was 94 years old. He is survived by his children: Mary Lee Taylor, Mickie Lou and Bert Tuft, all of Aurora; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Monte Lamont and Barbara Anderson of Springville. He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; a son, Jesse Don Anderson; a son-in-law: Geary Taylor; a granddaughter, Malinda Tuft; two brothers and one sister: Veldon Harmel Anderson, Fay Anderson and Donna Lavern Anderson. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 18, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. in the Aurora 1st LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Friday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Aurora City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
