Joan Monfredi Potter

Loa, Utah - Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, neighbor and friend Joan (Jennie) Monfredi Potter, age 94, passed away at her home in Loa. Jennie was born on May 3, 1921 to Anthony and Alvira Monfredi in Price, Utah. She grew up in Price where she graduated from Carbon High. She married James Brink Potter on June 22, 1948 in Elko, Nevada. Jennie enjoyed her career as a Hair Stylist, but the true passion of her life, and center of her universe, was her beloved family. She lived for her husband, her three children, and her precious grandchildren. Her loving acts of kindness, and her sweet influence in the lives of those she loved will be missed. She is survived by her husband James Potter; her children: Tina Potter Cannon (Chris) of Queen Creek, Arizona; Michael James Potter of St. George, Utah; DesiRee Potter of Loa, Utah; sister Virginia Gazell (Ray) of Price, Utah; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; 3 brothers and 6 sisters. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday October 6, 2015 in the Loa Cemetery, Loa Utah. Services are under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
