John Lloyd

Delta, Utah – Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, John Emmett Lloyd, Jr. age 78, of Delta and formerly of Richfield, passed away November 26, 2022, in Provo, Utah, as the result of a fall at his home. He was born August 16, 1944, in Washington, D.C. a son of John Emmett Sr. and Eleanor Goodwin Lloyd.

John grew up in Oklahoma. He married Judy Lynn Wilson June 22, 1964, in Pasadena, California. They lived in South Jordan, Utah for ten years, and while on vacation to Richfield in 2000, they liked what they saw and decided to move to Richfield and made it their home.

He worked at Newby Auto and Classic Chevrolet in Richfield, as a car salesman for many years. After he retired, he and Judy moved to Delta.

John will be missed. He is survived by his wife, Judy of Delta, a daughter, Jody Lloyd of Central Valley and a granddaughter, Jordan Hanson of Delta, great-grandchildren: Josey Hanson, Jhett Salisbury, Jace Salisbury, all Delta.

He is preceded in death by a brother, James Schwartz.

Memorial services were held, and burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
