Our beloved aunt, Jolie Tohonnie, age 90, of Richfield, died November 5, 2010 in Richfield. She was born October 20, 1920 in Dennebito, Arizona, a daughter of Hosteen and Zohnie Asahn Chishi Tohonnie. Aunt Jolie enjoyed yard work, gardening and she loved to grow vegetables. She enjoyed being outdoors in the sun and in the fresh air. She also collected a variety of jewelry, knick knacks and odds and ends. Having no living children of her own, she was a "Shi'Ma" figure to all of her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Jayne and Jim White of LaVerkin; Byron and Karren Allen, Gernice and Danny White, all of Richfield; Tom and Lorraine Allen of Paige, Arizona; Harry Allen of St. George; Sadie Friday and Irene Friday, both of Pasadena, California; Chee Friday of Elsinore and Paul Friday of Tuba City, Arizona; half sisters: Betty Teasyatoh of LaPlata, New Mexico; Eva Yazzie, Nellie Lee and Ella Watchman, all of Dennebito, Arizona; 31 grand nieces and nephews; 39 great-grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son; a niece, Bernice Allen; two sisters: Sadie Cardy and Bahe Friday; a brother, Tohonnie Begay and a half brother, Ned Tohonnie. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 8, 2010 at 1:00 P.M in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West, in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
