Centerfield, Utah - Our Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Wife, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend - this loving, caring and giving woman will be greatly missed by many, but it is comforting to know she is once again with the love of her life, Ralph Lange. Mom was born December 16, 1928 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, a daughter of Lewis Fredrick and Ethel Mae Green Dodd. She married Hans Christian Hamburg, April 1, 1950. They were later divorced. She married Ralph H. Lange, July 18, 1962. He died October 30, 1965. Joyce loved making crafts and decorating for the holidays and was known in Centerfield, as the Halloween Lady, due to the numerous decorations that filled her yard every year. She is survived by her children: Chris Hamburg, Linda and Calvin Smith, all of West Valley City; David and Cyndi Hamburg of Lake Elsinore, California; Kathy Robertson of Centerfield; Diane and Bob Gaut of Syracuse; Alan and Pam Hamburg of West Jordan; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Ethel Dodd; her spouses, Hans Hamburg and Ralph Lange; her brothers: Max Dodd and Duane Dodd; her son-in-law: Frank Robertson; and her best friends, Lois and Bernice. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 150 East Mains Street, in Salina, Friday, November 22, 2013 from 12 Noon to 2:00 P.M. At her request, her remains will be cremated and burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
