Joyce Nielsen

Salina, Utah - Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Joyce Murray Hamlin Nielsen, age 78, of St. George, died July 9, 2013 in Richfield, Utah. She was born August 9, 1934 in Bicknell, Utah, a daughter of Pier Murray and Jennie Christine Rasmussen Hamlin. She graduated from North Sevier High School, Class of 1952. Joyce worked as a machinist in the Aerospace Industry. She had lived in Granger for 70 years, moving to St. George last year. Joyce enjoyed painting and she loved her grandkids and enjoyed being with them. She will be greatly missed. Joyce is survived by her two sons: Jack Troy and Dinah Nielsen of Magna; Todd Ralph and Debbie Nielsen of Taylorsville; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister and brothers: Evelyn Marvidikis of Joseph; Kim Hamlin of St. George and Ralph Hamlin of Vancouver, Washington. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Natasha Nielsen; a son, Tracy Glade Nielsen and a brother, William H. Hamlin. Grave side services will be held Friday, July 12, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
