Judy Roberts

Salina, Utah - Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Judy Kathleen Anderson Roberts, age 70, died July 4, 2014 at her home in Salina. She was born March 18, 1944 in Salina, a daughter of Sherman and Marva Ann Hansen Anderson. She graduated from North Sevier High School. She married Connie McCoy Roberts, August 15, 1964 in Salina. They were later divorced. She worked as the Head Custodian at Salina Elementary School for many years. Mom loved the outdoors, including camping and fishing, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially during the holidays. She was a hard worker with a kind heart. She is survived by her children: Shelley Smith of Joshuatree, California; Kevin and Michelle Roberts of Frankfort, Kansas; grandchildren: Tia and Michael Schofield, Terron Roberts, all of Manhattan, Kansas; Brody Roberts and Ethan Roberts, both of Frankfort, Kansas; Celise and Carl Ballow, Kaley O'Neil, all of Richfield; sisters and brother: Marcia Christensen of West Valley City; Rick and Merlene Olsen of South Jordan; T'Resa Crawford of Annabella. She was preceded in death by her father, Sherman Anderson; her mother, Marva Hansen Anderson Olsen; two sisters and one brother: Sandra Anderson, Jerry Anderson and Shirley Anderson. Grave side services will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 2:00P.M. in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina, Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Pioneer Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
