Torrey, Utah - Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Wilma June Marsing Barton, age 86, of Torrey, died June 15, 2013 in Parowan, Utah. She was born February 13, 1927 in Helper, Utah, a daughter of Alma June and Edith Zoe Wells Marsing. She married Ray Bruce Barton, January 1, 1950 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, December 2, 1963. Bruce died October 7, 1994. She was an active member of the LDS Church, and worked in the St. George LDS Temple. She loved working in her garden and always had a beautiful vegetable and flower garden. June and her husband were the first Camp Hosts in the State of Utah, serving as hosts in Goblin Valley on the San Rafael. She enjoyed camping and being in the hills. June and Bruce moved to Torrey 22 years ago where she has since resided. She is survived by her three sons: Robert Bruce and Garnet Barton, Douglas Ray and Jane Barton, all of Cedar City; Carl Dean Barton of Torrey; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Norma Bryan of Weber and Sherma Eves of Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by a both parents; a granddaughter, Kami Jo Barton; a brother, Robert Marsing and two sisters Rosie, and Loise Marsing. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 1:00P.M. in the Torrey LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Saturday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Torrey Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
