Juneius A. Hatch

June Hatch Richfield, Utah - Juneius “June” Alton Hatch, age 88, died July 4, 2003 at his home in Richfield, surrounded by his family. He was born June 23, 1915 in Greenwich, Utah, a son of Louis and Emily Christina Christensen Hatch. He married Norma Moosman, November 24, 1939 in Richfield, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, May 17, 1948. She died March 26, 2001. June was an active member of the LDS Church. He worked in the Geneology Program as an Extractor. Dad herded sheep for many years and worked at Georgia Pacific in Sigurd from 1951 to his retirement in 1977. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He loved to hunt and fish, being outdoors, raising a garden and flowers, riding horses and camping. He is survived by his children: Eddie and Charlotte Hatch of Cedar City; MacRay and Judy Hatch, Annette and Cecil Hunt, all of Richfield; Marvin and Hazel Hatch of Fredonia, AZ; Deloy and Jeanne Hatch of Salina; 25 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; sister: Marcheta and Francis Dial of St. George. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; 1 granddaughter, 1 great-granddaughter; brothers: Lorin, Louis, Lois, Albert, Golden and Clarin Hatch; sisters: Emily A. Hatch, Verona Julander, Arnesta Gleave and Idena Hatch. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at 12 Noon in the Richfield 4th LDS Ward Chapel, 195 North 400 West, in Richfield. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 P.M. and at the ward chapel, Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
