Monroe, Utah - Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Karen Jean Jewkes Lee returned home to our Heavenly Father on June 2, 2017 at the age of 59. Karen was born on September 18, 1957 in Price, Utah. A daughter of L. Coy and Betty Jean Holme Jewkes. She attended Richfield High School and graduated in 1974. She married David Craig Lee on October 30, 1992 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were sealed for time and eternity on January 16, 2010 in Manti LDS Temple. Karen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a member of the Food Handlers Union for 36 years before retiring. Karen was a strong woman who had the fortitude to gracefully endure difficulty. She loved to shop (Hey Lady!). She loved the outdoors where she enjoyed camping and riding four wheelers and snow mobiles with her family, but thought coming home was the best part. She loved her children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces and would always sing to them "I love you a bushel and a peck". She was a loving person who built up those around her, she would often tell those she loved how proud she was of them, and her laugh..... She is survived by her husband David Craig Lee of Monroe; her children: Amanda and Cody Matheson of Richfield; Amy Erickson and Jerri Moser of Toquerville; Shon and Kendra Lee of Richfield; her grandchildren: Keyan; Kaylie; Jordan; Danielle; Chandee; Brittany; 3 great-grandchildren; her siblings: Randy and Darlene Jewkes of Richfield; Janet and Bob Torgerson of Richfield; Sharon and Dave Stevenson of Mayfield; Boyd and Sandy Jewkes; Wayne and Tina Jewkes of Monroe. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her daughter Krystal Randolph. Friends may call for viewing from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. prior to the services. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, and Salina.
