Kathryn P. Redford

JOSEPH -- Kathryn Pearl Parker Redford, 72, passed away June 4, 2020 at her home in Joseph. She was born November 30, 1947 in Richfield, a daughter of Max Rodney and Melba Sally Eames Parker. She married Bill Redford on Oct. 12, 1973 in Salt Lake City, UT. He preceded her in death June 18, 2010. Kaye loved rocks and jewelry. She loved hiking in the various areas of southern Utah seeking "treasures". She also was an avid gardener, and lovingly shared her great depth of knowledge with all who asked. She was loving and kind soul. Her son's friends [and her family members] always knew they could come to her home to talk and have a meal. She is survived by nephew, Max P. Parker and niece, Fiona Otway [aka Marie Parker]; daughters-in-law: Michelle Parker and Holly Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents: Max R. Parker on June 12, 1970 and Melba Parker on March 27, 1996; her son, Sean Parker, son, June 1, 2007; her brother, Max E. Parker, brother, Sept. 15, 1989; her sister-in-law, M. Patricia Parker, sister-in-law, Oct. 29, 2016; her father-in-law, George William Redford, July 17, 1992; and her mother-in-law, Isabella Redford, mother-in-law, Aug. 16, 1977. Much gratitude goes to family and friends who were so supportive during the final years of Kaye's life. Special thanks to Barbara Balch and Kim Feller. Kaye was cremated and there will be a memorial at the Joseph Community Center on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 P.M. under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
