Kathy Lou Mabbutt

Salina, Utah - Kathy Lou Mabbutt, age 64, of Salina, passed away December 29, 2017 in Provo. She was born September 20, 1953 in Price, a daughter of Darwin Ernest and Clara Darlene Blackburn Mabbutt. She graduated from Carbon High School, Class of 1971. She married Blaine K. Turner in May of 1972 in Delta, Utah. They were later divorced. She married Fred M. Pannunzio August 9, 1983 in Price. They were later divorced. Everyone knew Kathy as Mamma Lou. She literally adopted all of her friends kids, as her own. She loved the holidays and always went all out, decorating for Christmas and Halloween. She was a great cook, a hard worker, loved being outdoors, camping, fishing and spending time with family. She enjoyed doing crafts. She loved to sit by a fire, whether in the back yard or up in the mountains. She especially loved her old Geo Metro, that she drove all around town. Mamma Lou is survived by her children: Kade Pannunzio and Kasey Tsosie, both of Salina; Kirt and Alicea Turner of Delta; 5 grandchildren:: Ya Riley Turner, Taden Turner, Kelby Turner, Oakley Tsosie and Pyper Tsosie; her mother, Darlene Kartchner of Price; sisters and brothers: DeAnn Mabbutt, Randy and Bobbi Mabbutt, Dawn and Jim Leonard, all of Price; Ray and LaRae Cook of Roosevelt; Jeff and Kristy Mabbutt of Heber City; Rhondo Grimshaw of Delta; Lynette and Kim Hansen of Lemington. She was preceded in death by her father, Darwin Ernest Mabbutt; and her step-father, Lamont Kartchner. An Open House Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 7 P.M. in the Robinson Team Building, 720 West Main Street in Salina, where friends may visit with the family from 4:30 to 7:00 PM. prior to the services. Burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah. In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at Zion's Bank in Salina in the name of Kathy Mabbutt to help with expenses.
