Kaye Marlene Platt Quinton, age 56, died September 2, 2006 in Richfield, Utah. She was born April 4, 1950 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Leslie Jean and Marian Terry Platt. She was raised by her mother and step-father, Marian and Harold Burt. She graduated from Beaver High School, Class of 1969 and she attended college in Cedar City. Kaye married Myron James Quinton, September 12, 1971 in Salt Lake City. They were later divorced. She married Ephraim Earl Fergerson, March 2, 1973 in Beaver. They were later divorced. Kaye was a member of the LDS Church and she served a Temple Mission in Salt Lake City. She is survived by a daughter, Toni Jo Platt of Provo; a daughter-in-law: Jennifer Lynne Jenkins Quinton of Richfield; two sisters and one brother: Janice Donnalee Burt Rodriquez and Jerri Lee Burt Hare, both of Beaver; Jon Harold and Linda Burt of Venice; two grandchildren: Jonathan Matthew Quinton and Melinda Jasmine Quinton, both of Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Leslie Jean Quinton, June 22, 2006, just ten weeks ago; and by her parents, Leslie Jean Platt, Marian and Harold Burt. Grave side services will be held Friday, September 8,2006 at 3:00 P.M. in the Centerfield City Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. Burial will be in the Centerfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
