Keith Harwood

Sigurd, Utah - Our beloved father, grandfather and brother, Joseph Keith Harwood, age 70, of Sigurd, died December 31, 2007 in Richfield, Utah. He was born October 22, 1937 in Grace, Idaho, a son of Joseph A. And Orstella Mae Rich Harwood. He attended schools in Grace and graduated from high school in 1956. He married Karen Burningham November 20, 1959 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were later divorced. He married B. Leone Rollins March 27, 1992 in the Manti LDS Temple. They were later divorced. Keith was an active member of the LDS Church serving in the Scouts, Sunday School Presidency and as Elders Quorum President. He was a member of the Sevier County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse and he worked as a Dispatcher for Utah Power and Light. Keith enjoyed deer hunting, skiing and horses. He is survived by his children: Greg and Lori Harwood of Salina; Karie and Bobby Gardner of Waukesha, Wisconsin; Allen and April Harwood of Cedar City; Shane and Hannah Harwood of Roy; 18 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a brother, Gary and Jackie Harwood of Helper. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Owen R. Harwood and a sister, Joleen Bell. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 5. 2008 at 1:00 P.M. in the Sigurd LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Saturday morning from 11:30 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Sigurd Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
