Keith Knighton

Gunnison, Utah - Byron Keith Knighton, age 86, passed away in his sleep on December 24, 2006 in Gunnison, Utah. He was born July 6, 1920 in Gunnison, Utah, a son of George Byron and Ordell Coates Knighton. Keith worked and retired from UNIVAC in Salt Lake City. He also served his country for two years in the US Coast Guard Keith was married to Mervyl Whitlock, but was later divorced. He is survived by four children: Sondra Russo, Susan and Ed Baldwin, Kelly and Karen Knighton; Sally Agieirri; and two sisters: Beulah Mollerup, Helen and Lester Hill. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Gunnison Valley Hospital for the compassionate care they provided Keith following his stroke. Grave side services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in the Gunnison City Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Gunnison American Legion Post. Services under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
