Kevin T. Muir

Gunnison, Utah - Kevin T. Muir passed away May 20, 2022 at the age of 33. Kevin was born May 31, 1988, and is the son of David K. Muir and Vicky Nielsen Hales. Kevin grew up in Sigurd, Utah where he developed a love for the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping. Kevin was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Kevin found happiness in the outdoors and enjoyed teaching his children everything he loved about the mountains. Kevin was a great listener and would give advice well beyond his young age. He was always there for those in need or even just a favor. You could count on Kevin to come running to help. Kevin had the gift of laughter. He could make anyone laugh and it was contagious. He was always the life of any gathering. He will be greatly missed by so many. Kevin is survived by his parents, children: Kelton and Brilee Muir of Gunnison; sisters: Sheena (Darcy) Edwards of Loa; McKenna Brown of Aurora;, brother: KJ Muir of Logan; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by grandfathers: Tom Nielsen and David Muir as well as an uncle: Todd Nielsen. A celebration of life will be held May 31, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at the Redmond, Utah City Park. All friends and family are welcome.
