Kim L. Busk

June 11, 1955 — August 21, 2020

Central Valley, Utah – Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Kim Lewis Busk, age 65, of Central Valley, passed away Friday, August 21, 2020 in St. George, after a very short battle with cancer. He was born June 11, 1955 in Richfield, a son of Jewell Albert and Carol Lydia Vail Busk. He graduated from Richfield High School, Class of 1973. He married his sweetheart, Karen LaRae Watts December 7, 1974 in Richfield. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple June 17, 2000. Kim started working construction for his father when he was a young boy and has been doing it ever since. He was a CoOwner and operator of BC Building Corporation in Richfield, in partnership with his brothers. Kim enjoyed wood working, hunting, fishing, gardening, four-wheeling, fly tying and fly fishing. He had his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying, but most of all he enjoyed loving on his grandkids. Kim is survived by his loving wife, Karen, of Central Valley; children: Quinton and Jeri Busk of Richfield; Selena Miller of St. George; Lydia and Jamie Duncan of Magna; Jerrell and Shelbi Busk of Parowan; 13 grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Judy Van Duren of Hurricane; Rodney Busk, Morgan Busk, Melony and Carlos Guerrero, Kendall and Jan Busk, Richard and Lani Busk, Honas and Renae Busk, all of Richfield; mothers-in-law: Barbara Watts and Dawn Watts, both of Richfield. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jewell and Carol Busk; a grandson, Elye Duncan; his father-in-law: Jerry Watts; nephews: Rick Washburn, Joshua Guerrero and Bill Davis; and two brothers-in-law: Mud Van Duren and Bob Egan. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
