Our beloved husband, father, brother and uncle, Kix B. Morrison, age 88, died December 2, 2008 in Salt Lake City. He was born October 26, 1920 in Monroe, Utah, a son of Andrew Sorenson (Bud) and Minnie Louise Simonsen Morrison. He graduated from South Sevier High School and served in the US Navy during World War II. He married Floy Nielson, January 3, 1946 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is survived by his loving wife, Floy, a son, Kim and Lori Morrison, all of Salt Lake City; brother and sisters: Robert (Laura, deceased) Morrison of Vernal; Mavis and Ralph Kotter of Tremonton; Peggy (Douglas, deceased) Nielson, Connie and Kent Parsons, all of Monroe; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Kix Morrison. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 12 Noon in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400West in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial with military honors accorded by the Monroe American Legion Post #37 will be in the Monroe City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
