Kody Mikesell

Richfield, Utah – Kody Jo Mikesell, aka Puppy, aka Dog, age 40, passed away unexpectantly on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at his home in Richfield. Kody was born July 29, 1979 in Salt Lake City, Utah. A Son of Lamar J. Mikesell. He attended Hunter High School and Graduated with the Class of 1998. Kody loved his family and friends with everything he had. He was always down to do whatever they wanted to do. He didn’t care about what they were doing, all that mattered to him was who he was with. He loved to be around his loved ones and would do anything from riding four wheelers to relaxing and watching movies. He was a character who enjoyed shenanigans, and would tailor them to suite who he was with. Kody was a ray of light for his friends and family. If you where having a bad day, he would not let you leave without making you smile. You couldn’t help but feel better after seeing him. He is positive outlook and laugh was contagious. He had a heart that was too big for this world. Kody is survived by his brother Chris Mikesell of West Valley; his sister Cassidy Mikesell of Salina; his step-mother Debbie Anderson of Aurora. He was preceded in death by his father Lamar J. Mikesell. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Services are under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
