San Pedro, California/Gunnison, Utah - Our beloved son, brother, grandson and friend, Kristopher Manouk Kassabian, age 27, of Rancho Palos Verdes, California, died October 22, 2013 in San Pedro, California in a motorcycle accident. He was born May 27, 1986 in Torrance, California, the youngest son of Manouk George and Doris Dee Peterson Kassabian. He graduated from The Century High School in Los Angeles, California. He received his certificate in welding, heating and air conditioning. Kristopher was a professional motorcycle stunt rider. He lived to ride and rode to live. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his parents, Manouk and Dee Kassabian of San Pedro; a brother, Anthony Bogh Kassabian and a sister, Natalie Kassabian (Jeff) Myers; his fiancee, Lily Hoyle; and his grandmother, Diane Peterson Funk of Gunnison. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Lucine Kassabian, Ivan Peterson; and an uncle, Dickran Kassabian. A Celebration of his life will be held Friday, November 1, 2013 at 12 Noon in the Gunnison LDS Stake Center, 80 West Center Street, in Gunnison, where friends and family may call for viewing Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Gunnison City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
