Lapreal J. Taylor

Caineville, Utah - Our beloved mother, aunt and friend, LaPreal Jackson Taylor, age 86, of Caineville, died July 26, 2012 in Richfield, Utah. She was born May 17, 1926 in Bicknell, Utah, a daughter of John H. Jackson Jr. and Muriel Maude Baker Jackson. She married Roland James Taylor, May 26, 1943 in Bicknell, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, December 18, 1963. He died December 1, 1970. She is survived by her son, James K. Taylor of Caineville; half-sisters and half-brothers: Edith Malcom, LaRee Miner, Alton LaVon Jackson, Jean Taylor, Richard Jackson and Donna Payne; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers: Arthur Baker Jackson and Cebern John Jackson; two sisters: Marjorie White and Fredonia Jackson; and a step-sister: Vilma Ann Phillips. Grave side services will be held Monday, July 30, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the Loa Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Loa LDS Stake Center, Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Loa Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
