Larry B. Larsen

Salina, Utah - Our beloved father, grandfather and brother, Larry B. Larsen, age 70, died July 19, 2008 at his home in Salina. He was born November 24, 1937 in Salina, Utah, a son of Otis B. and Dora Elaine Mason Larsen. He married Rosetta Harris May 26, 1960 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She died April 9, 2001. Larry served in the United States Air Force, Army and National Guard. He was a member of the LDS Church. He loved to fish and enjoyed the outdoors. He is survived by his children: Larry Benjamin and Michelle Larsen of Mt. Pleasant; George Otis and Tova Larsen of St. George; Bonnie Elaine and Gerald Palmer of Salina; Carl Daniel and Joy Larsen of Raleigh, North Carolina; 12 grandchildren; brother and sisters: James Terril and Suzanne Larsen, Diane Oldroyd, all of Taylorsville; Jean Peterson of West Jordan. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 12 Noon in the Salina 3rd LDS Ward Chapel, located at 87 South 100 East in Salina. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina, Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial with military honors accorded by the Salina American Legion Post #36 will be in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
