Larry J Rosequist

Ely, Nevada - Larry J. Rosequist, age 63, died April 12, 2011 at his home in Ely. He was born April 5, 1948 in Richfield, a son of Gardell J. And Melva Johnson Rosequist. He attended Basic High School in Henderson, Nevada and graduated in 1966. Larry served his country during the Viet Nam Conflict from March of 1968 to February of 1970, serving in the United States Army. He was awarded a Bronze Star and three Army Commendations Medals. Larry worked for Clark County. Nevada as a fireman and fire inspector. After he retired, he settled in Ely. Larry loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Gardell Rosequist; and his mother, Melva J. Rosequist, who died December 5, 2010. Grave side services will be held Friday, April 22, 2011 at 12 Noon in the Elsinore Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial with military honors accorded by the Elsinore American Legion Post and the Utah Honor Guard will be in the Elsinore Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
