Lavona Duffin

Lancaster, CA/Axtell, UT – Rhoda Lavona Duffin, age 74, passed away May 13, 2010, in Lancaster, Caflifornia. She was born April 25, 1936, in Aurora Utah, a daughter of Alma and Rhoda Crowther. She married Boyd Lee Duffin October 4, 1952, in Aurora Utah. Lavona was the most wonderful Wife, Mother , Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, any one could wish for. She was a loving and caring person, with a heart of gold, she treated everyone just like she wanted to be treated. She loved her husband and family, dearly . Her happiness in life was her husband, her four children, and her family. Lavona loved to camp, sew, quilt, scrapbook and most of all spending time with her family. She is now with our Heavenly Father, and she will be missed greatly. Lavona is survived by her children: Boyd Lynn, Diana, Vicky, and ZoeAnn, 9 grandchildren: Amber, Erin, Jeremy, Travis, Natasha, Rochelle, Joshua, Mariah, Rachel as well as 9 great grandchildren: Domonique, Lily, Kaylee, Adam, Lucas, Faith, Hayden, Avalon, and Shelbie; also three wonderful sisters Gereldine, Leola, and Geneva. Lavona is preceded in death by her mother Rhoda, father Alma and her beloved husband Boyd Lee, sisters: Armilda, Bernice, Hortence, Viva, Vivian, Maurine and brothers: Lloyd, Clifton, Clifford and La Vern. Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 22, 2010, at 1:00 P.M. in the Axtell LDS Ward Chapel in Axtell, Utah. Burial will be in the Axtell Cemetery at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
