Richfield, Utah - Our beloved brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Leland Roy Nay, age 73, passed away on Saturday, September 26, at his home in Richfield. He was born July 18, 1943 in Circleville, Utah, a son of William Levi and Mary Venna Sherman Nay. He graduated from Richfield High School, Class of 1961. He served his country in the United States Army for four years as an Army Clerk. Lee worked at Albertsons in Bountiful and Richfield for many years. He enjoyed fishing, sight seeing and traveling. Lee is survived by his siblings: Sherman L. Nay of Brigham City; Clarence Albey and Leah Nay of West Bountiful; Mateland D. and Janice Nay, Revoe N. and Ed Moss, all of Richfield; Devon R. Nay and Jeanette Sharpe of Sigurd; a sister-in-law: Connie Austin and Jake Watkins of Rush Valley; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: William Levi Nay, William Nicol Austin and Mary Venna Sherman Nay Austin; a brother, Deward L. Nay and a step-brother, Arnold Austin. Grave side services with military honors accorded by the VFW Sevier Post #5050 and the Utah Honor Guard will be held Friday, October 2, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. in the Sigurd Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
