He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Guatemala. He has held many callings in the church demonstrating his selfless desire to serve our Father in Heaven and those around him. There has never been a time in his life where he wasn’t trying to help others in need. He was jovial, playful, kind and fun to be around. Lewis was a leader, and many have enjoyed the blessings of following his example. Lewis was a Sergeant in the Utah Army National Guard, Battery A 2/222 FA Richfield Utah. He was disciplined, hardworking, and driven. He earned his BS in nursing and was a Registered Nurse for 13 years. He then went on to earn his (MHS) Master of Health Science at Saint Vincent College and then his Certificate in Anesthesia to become a (CRNA) Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. He has since worked at Lincoln County Medical Center in Ruidoso, New Mexico where he lived with his family. He loved hunting, fishing, shooting, and the outdoors, but most of all he loved his family and spending time with them. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
