Joseph – Our beloved friend and neighbor, Linda Anne Rackham, age 69, passed away peacefully at home, in the care of her friends, on June 3, 2021. Linda was born on December 11, 1951, to James Patrick and Emma Jean Creighton. She was raised in Washington D.C. and Mechanicsville, Virginia. She enjoyed living with her grandparents including fishing trips with her grandpa. She enjoyed being active as a kid, or as she would say, “raising hell.” Linda later moved to Ogden, Utah where she married Michael Wayne Rackham on December 7, 1984. Michael loved her unconditionally and supported her as she attended Weber State University, where she graduated in 1992 with Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and History, as well as a Master’s degree in Education. Michael passed away on October 19, 2014. Linda was deeply impacted by his passing, and she looked forward to being reunited with him again. Linda had many interests including photography, teaching, and fishing. She loved the mountains and getting out into nature. She was always on the move. She was a world traveler who lived in and visited many places across the globe during her lifetime. She was a feisty, wild, and adventurous individual. She was smart, sometimes frustrating, but there was rarely a dull moment when she was around. She lived her life on her own terms and as she wanted. Her friends will miss her but take comfort knowing that she is now free from pain, free from confusion, and reunited with her sweetheart. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a stepmother, Helen Creighton. A celebration of her life will be held at a future date. Services are under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Homes or Richfield and Salina, Utah.
