Linda Whitlock

Pleasant Grove, Utah - Linda JaNae Whitlock, age 70, passed away on June 25, 2024 at her home in Pleasant Grove, Utah. She was born in Gunnison, Utah to Aldous and Katherine Whitlock, the third of four children.

Linda completed her degree in education and was an elementary school teacher for many years, putting her creativity and dedication towards her students and classroom. Linda extended these skills to her nieces and nephews, sharing her love of reading and joy of helping others. She enjoyed art, she had a talent for drawing, sketching, and being creative. Linda was kind and endearing, her family all liked hearing her laughter and sharing time together. One nephew, when he was young, expected that everyone had an Aunt Linda in their lives because she was simply a part of our family we all loved.

Our appreciation to those involved at Grovecrest apartments in assisting on the day she passed away, and in all expressions of sympathy extended to family, we are grateful to everyone.

We know she was welcomed lovingly by her parents, brother Kurt, sister Shauna and others who preceded her in death and is now surrounded with their love. Although she will be greatly missed we are comforted to know she is enjoying a beautiful reunion.

Burial will be at the Mayfield Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina, Utah. Afterward a family memorial service will be held to honor her life and our love for her.
