Liz Holloman

Monroe, Utah - Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Elizabeth “Liz” Mary Holloman, age 67, died Sunday, April 24, 2011 in Salt Lake City, Utah, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 1, 1943 in New York City, New York, a daughter of Ernest and Lorraine Randell Rolfe. She graduated from Poly Technic High School, Class of 1961. Liz was a member of the Catholic Church. She married Lee B. Holloman, July 27, 1987 in Fresno, California. She worked as an Administrative Secretary in California. After their retirement, Liz and Lee moved to Monroe. She was active in the Richfield Elks Lodge and served as a volunteer at the Richfield Airport. Liz enjoyed camping, fishing, playing with her grandkids, gardening, canning and golf. She is survived by her husband, Lee, of Monroe; children: Sheri Lamkin and Shannon Lamkin, both of Littleton, Colorado; Dawna Cooper of Murrieta, California; Dan Holloman of Wildamar, California; Richard Holloman of Simi Valley, California; Randy Holloman of Lake Arrowhead, California; 9 grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Deborah Bolamperti of Monroe; Joann Oakie, Ronnie Farley, Kathy Owens, Kevin Moriarty, all of Clearwater, Florida; Nancy Gillan of Woodlands Park, New Jersey; John Rolfe of Columbia, South Carolina; and Ernest Rolfe of Sun Valley, California. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Patricia Fester. Private family services were held and at her request, her remains have been cremated. Memorial services will be held this summer at the family home in Monroe and burial will take place at a later date. Funeral Directors: Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
