Monroe, Utah – Our beloved father, son, partner, grandfather, brother, uncle, neighbor and friend Lonny James Taylor, age 47, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at his home in Monroe. Lonny was born December 6, 1971 in Provo, Utah, a son of Jerry Dallen Taylor, and Zola Naomi Mitchell. He married Antionette Smith June 15, 1995 in Orem, Utah. They later divorced in 2011. He was in a committed relationship with Destiny Vigil for the past eight years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Lonny loved fishing, hunting, riding four-wheelers. He enjoyed working on cars and trucks. He would tinker with about anything that was broken and he thought he could fix. He was a great story teller. He was always ready with a joke that was sure to draw laughter. Though his life was short, he lived it to the fullest. He was part of so many great stories in the lives of his friends and family. More than anything Lonny loved his family, and they loved him greatly in return. His family will love and miss him forever. He is survived by his girlfriend Destiny Vigil of Monroe; children: Kylee Taylor of Monroe; Blade Taylor of Monroe; Jesse and Kirsten Smith of Provo; Maryssa and Carl Smith of Springville; Shawn and Kim Smith of Provo; his mother Zola Mitchell of Orem; ex-wife Antionette Taylor of Provo; Siblings: Norene Jensen of Payson; Tina Jackman of Spanish Fork; Gerald Taylor of Pleasant Grove; Bret Jackman of Orem; Rodger Taylor of Hurricane; Pam Ekker of Salmon, Idaho; 3 Grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father Jerry Taylor; a sister Cindy Taylor; his step-mom Diane Taylor; his step-brother John Jackman. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West Richfield, Utah. Friends may call for viewing from 12:00 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. prior to services. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
