Lora Dean Griffiths

Fremont, Utah - Lora Dean Girffiths, age 47, passed away December 2, 2016 at her home in Fremont. She was born November 17, 1969 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of Thomas Chase and Norma Dean Forsyth Griffiths. She graduated from Wayne High School, Class of 1988. She married David K. Johnson, May 15, 1986 in Teasdale, Utah. They were later divorced. She has been the companion of Ricky R. Taylor for the past 8 years. Lora served as an EMT and worked on the Wayne County Ambulance for two years. She enjoyed camping, hunting, four wheeling and herding cows, but most of all she enjoyed feeding little Rick. She is survived by Ricky R. Taylor of Fremont; children: Wayne Johnson and Mike Johnson, both of Bicknell; Amanda Johnson and Norm Nielson of Tropic; grandchildren: Kyx Edwards, Know Nielson, Kayson Nielson and Burell Nielson, with a baby on the way; her parents: Tom and Connie Griffiths of Salt Lake City; Norma Dean Griffiths of Richfield; step-children: Trista and Kade Nielson of Monroe; Saige and Trinity Edwards of Loa; Dakota and Katie Taylor of Central Valley; siblings: Rex and Carolyn Griffiths of Teasdale; Robin and Tawnya Griffiths, Teressa Griffiths, all of Salt Lake City; brothers-in-law: Jason and Dana Taylor of Bountiful; Justin and Dawna Taylor of Phoenix, Arizona; Jordan and Lisa Crane of St. George; mother-in-law: Peggy Taylor of Fremont. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law: Ted R. Taylor; brother-in-law: Jay R. Taylor; mother-in-law: Charlene B. Taylor and her grandparents, Rex and LaPreal Forsyth. Memorial services will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. in the Fremont LDS Ward Chapel where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Fremont Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
