Lucille Meacham Parsons

Salina, Utah - Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Lucille Alice Neilson Meacham Parsons, age 93, died January 25, 2011 at her home in Salina. She was born September 28, 1917 in Parowan, Utah, a daughter of Andrew Franklin and Nancy Edna Smith Neilson. She married Heber Alma Meacham, September 2, 1936 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died February 1, 1970. She later married Waldo Parsons, February 14, 2001 in Richfield, Utah. He died January 19, 2006. She was a member of the LDS Church. She loved to dance and listen to country music. Lucille is survived by her children: Deloye and Barbara Meacham of Dayton, Nevada; Arvella (Gordon, deceased) Searle of Oasis; Doug and Francis Meacham of Hayden, Colorado; Ken and Drexel Meacham of Mesquite, Nevada; Arda (deceased) and Jesus Avalos of Delta; 21 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren and 88 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two step-sons and four step-daughters: Dean Meacham, Duane Meacham, Nina Palmer, Dorothy Halsey, Mary Muir and Barbara Cook; also two brothers and one sister: Varse Neilson, Ray Neilson and Hilda Chynoweth. Grave side services will be held Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Henrieville Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 260 North 400 West in Richfield, Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Henrieville Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
