Ludeal H. Williams

August 14, 1916 — April 2, 2007

Teasdale, Utah - Elmada Ludeal Hatt Williams, age 90, of Teasdale, died April 2, 2007 in Richfield, Utah of causes incident to age. She was born August 14, 1916 in Aurora, Utah, a daughter of Frank Joshua and Ruby Curtis Hatt. She married Dyle D. Williams, July 7, 1935 in Teasdale. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple November 8, 1940. Dyle died December 3, 1999. Ludeal enjoyed working in her garden and greenhouse and helping Dyle manage their cattle on the Boulder Mountain and the desert, near Lake Powell. She was a long-time supervisor of the school lunch program in the Wayne County School District and took great pride in providing nutritious lunches to students in Wayne County. She greatly enjoyed her association with students and faculty and made many life-long friends. She was a member of the LDS Church and served in many callings in the Teasdale Ward. Ludeal is survived by her children: Cozette and Garry Shirts of Del Mar, CA; Robert and Charlotte Williams of Teasdale; Steven Williams of Austin, NV; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother and sister: ReyLloyd Hatt and Denavor Price, both of Green River. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Marion (Buff) Hatt and Vail Hatt. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 9, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. in the Teasdale Cultural Hall, where friends may call for viewing Monday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Teasdale Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Teasdale Community Park.
