Lyle Gordon Goff

June 18, 1943 — January 6, 2022

Richfield, Utah – Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, Lyly Gordon Goff, age 78, passed away January 6, 2022 at his home in Richfield. He was born June 18, 1943 in Murray, a son of Rulon Almy and Emma Newbold Goff. He grew up in Murray and attended Murray High School. He married the love of his life, Vera Jean Wynn December 4, 1965 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple December 2, 1988. Lyle is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many different callings. He enjoyed fishing, camping and loved doing yard work for the neighbors and widows in the area. Lyle was a cabinet maker and worked at Wasatch Cabinets in Salt Lake City for over 20 years, retiring in 2011. Lyle and Vera moved to Richfield in 2017 to be closer to their daughter. Lyle loved to travel and traveled throughout the Western United States, visiting most of the National Parks and Recreation area. He enjoyed being with his grandkids and taking them on his travel adventures. He is survived by his beloved wife, of Richfield; children: Michelle and Rowdy Blake of Richfield; Bob and Lisa Winder of Littlefield, Arizona; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother and sister: Leon Earl and Margie Goff of Coalville, Carolee and Rulon Higley of Grantsville. He is preceded in death by: a daughter, Sherrie Nash and two brothers, Rulon Delmar Goff and Calvin Goff. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the West Valley 6th LDS Ward Chapel 4400 South 3650 West in West Valley City. Burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
