Richfield, Utah - Our kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mabel Turner Jorgensen, age 75, returned home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 16, 2006, at her home in Richfield, due to complications from cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 29, 1931 in Lyman, Utah, a daughter of James Collier and Hazel May Oldroyd Turner. She was an excellent seamstress, sewing matching dresses for her four young daughters for every occasion. She loved quilting and crocheting, and always had a quilt on - even at the time of her death! Mabel was well known for her hand dipped chocolates which she lovingly prepared each holiday season for her family and friends. She was an avid golfer and bowler, participating in many events. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren perform in the arts and sporting events. She was very proud of her family and their accomplishments. Mabel dedicated her life to serving others. She was an active member of the LDS Church, where she served in all the auxiliaries including Relief Society and Mutual President. She loved being a Visiting Teacher. Klar and Mabel spent the last several winters in St. George enjoying their family and friends and the winter sunshine. Mabel dedicated her life to her husband, family and her church.
