Elsinore, Utah - Mac Dennis Carter, age 84 of Elsinore passed away on September 18, 2017 in St. George, Utah. He was born on March 17, 1933 in Elsinore. A son of William Dennis and Mary Fern Cropper Carter. He married Gracie Mathis in Elko, Nevada. They later divorced. He married Joyce Manning in Elko, Nevada. They later divorced. Mac Served in the US Air Force. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He worked as a Signal Maintainer for the rail road. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his daughter Renae Carter Smuin of Brigham City; his son Russell Carter of Laramie, Wyoming; a brother James Hall of Richfield; a sister Reva Scott of Springville. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; his granddaughter Kayla Kersey; great-grandson Timmy McCarter. Graveside services with military honors provided by the Hill Air Force Base Honor Guard, and the Monroe American Legion Post #37 will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 in the Joseph City Cemetery, Joseph, Utah. Services are under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
