Margaret Gaunt

Monroe, Utah - Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Margaret Verna Opperman Gaunt, age 90, of Monroe, passed away on September 29, 2016 in Richfield. She was born June 29, 1926 in Camden, New Jersey, a daughter of Charles and Emma Harvey Opperman. She married Alvin Gaunt in 1942. He preceded her in death, June 9, 1992. Margaret loved camping. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, great-grandkids and her dog, Ranger. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children: Patsy Reutter of Monroe; Richard Gaunt, Sr. and Garry Gaunt, both of Torrance, California; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mildred Ronca of Williamstown, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; her parents; two brothers and three sisters. Grave side services will be held Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. in the Monroe City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
